OEX508 Relay Outputs Expansion Module
The OEX508 expansion module allows the installation of additional eight individually programmable relay outputs, to the FORCE Series
intruder alarm systems. The module connects to the FORCE BUS and has a box tamper switch and a buzzer to help the technician in
locating it on the premises. It is supplied mounted in a standard plastic box.
The OEX508 can be powered by the PS-2 power supply, that can indicate on AC loss and low battery states.

How to mount and install the OEX508
Mount the OEX508's box on a flat surface. Follow the next steps.
1. Open the screw at the bottom of the box and remove the cover.
2. Remove one or more knock outs and insert the bus and relay wires.
3. Mount the box using the mounting holes.
4. Set the module's number DIP switch; see the settings above.
5. Connect the wires of the relays and the bus.
6. Set the relay outputs in the control panel (refer to the FORCE's Installation guide) and check the LEDs.
7. Close the cover and fasten the screw.

The OEX516 has two LEDs, described below.

Tampers disconnection jumper
The jumper on the circuit board is used for disconnecting the onboard tamper and the external tamper input, as described below:
 Jumper open: tampers connected (use only one tamper)
 Jumper closed: tampers disconnected
