WARNINgS AND RECOMMENDATIONS - lIPO BATTERIES (lIThIuM-POlYMER)
BEFORE uSE SEE INCluDED INSTRuCTIONS FOR ADDITIONAl WARNINgS AND MAINTENANCE.
• Never charge a lithium polymer battery with a charger designed for NiCd, NiMH, or any other type of battery chemistry.
Use ONLY charged designed for LiPo battery, like the one delivered with your vehicle (KN-LIPO220).
• Do not leave LiPo battery unattended during charging.
• Do not overcharge the battery.
• Always place the battery on a heat resistant surface alone when charging.
• Do not allow LiPo cells to overheat at any time. Cells which reach greater than 140 Fahrenheit(60C) will usually become
damaged and will catch fire.
• Do not charge LiPo cells on or near combustible materials including paper, plastic, carpets, vinyl, leather, and wood, inside an
R/C model or full size automobile.
• Do not discharge LiPo; doing so will damage the battery.
• Do not expose LiPo cell to water or moisture at any time.
• Do not store battery near open flame or heater.
• Do not assemble LiPo cells or pre-assembled packs together with other LiPo cells or packs.
• Always store LiPo battery in a secure location away from children
• Always remove the LiPo battery if model is involved in any kind of crash. Carefully inspect the battery and connectors for even
the smallest damage. CAUTION: cells may be hot!
• Do not allow the electrolyte to get into eyes or on skin. Wash affected areas immediately if they come into contact with
electrolyte. Do not alter or modify connectors or wires of a LiPo battery pack.
• Always inspect the condition of the battery before charging and operating.
• Do not short circuit the LiPo battery.
• Do not have contact with a leaky/damaged battery directly.
• Do not charge battery out of recommended temperature range (0C – 45C).
• Do not charge battery with anything other than a LiPo charging system made specifically for LiPo batteries.
• Do not leave battery unattended while charging.
• Do not charge battery at less than 1C or more than 2C.
• Do not connect positive and negative leads together.
• Do not alter, puncture,or remove battery from its case in any way.
• Do not use battery below 6 volts. Once vehicle begins to show loss in power, stop vehicle and remove battery immediately.
• Do not discharge battery after use.
• Do not store battery in vehicle.
• Always store the battery 50-100% charged in a safe environment, disconnected from vehicle, between -4°F and 95°F (-20° C
and 35°C).
DANGER: in case of any odor, heating, discoloration,or deformation while using or storing battery,disconnect and discontinue
use if battery leaks or electrolytes come in contact with clothing or skin, wash thoroughly with clean water to avoid any
irritation.

hERE ARE ThE INSTRuCTIONS TO ChARgE YOu BATTERY PACK.
Connect your battery to the supplied charger
(KN-LIPO220), as shown in the picture.
Plug the charger into an AC outlet.
The KN-LIPO220 charger can charge batteries
up to 3S, Such as the one provided with your vehicle.
The 3 LEDs represent the 3 cells of the battery.
Their red color indicates that loaginf is in progress
and their green color indicates that loading is completed.
For more security, We also advise you to charge
your Li-Po batteries in specially designed covers.
Once the battery is charged, detach the velcros on the vehicle.
Use the padding foam supplied to secure your battery (as shown in the
picture).
Then secure your battery with velcro.
