Draw up lower thread
(1) Lift presser foot and hold the upper thread lightly with your left hand.
(2) Keep turning forward the balance wheel until thread take-up lever is at its highest position. Pull the
upper thread so as to pull up the lower thread.
(3) Leave about 5cm of both threads and pull them under the presser foot then toward the back of the
presser foot. Leave 5cm of both threads.
