General information

When using the Vacuum Food Sealer, basic safety precautions should be observed.
PLEASE READ AND SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE VACUUM FOOD
SEALER.
1. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
2. This Food Sealer can be used by children 8 years or older and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
3. Children should not play with the Food Sealer.
4. Cleaning and user maintenance should be handled by adults.
5. Improper use of the Food Sealer and its accessories may damage the appliance
and cause injury.
6. Do not use your Food Sealer if it is not working properly or if the Sealer or power
cord has been damaged. Please contact customer service.
7. It is not recommended to vacuum seal any liquids with this Food Sealer. It could
result in an improper seal or damage to the Food Sealer.
8. Do not touch the sealing strip as it will become very hot.
9. Do not immerse Food Sealer in liquid at any time.
10. For indoor household use only.
11. Unplug the Food Sealer from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
12. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or Food Sealer in
water or any other liquid.
13. Do not operate the Food Sealer with a damaged cord or plug, or if the Food Sealer
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Contact customer service if
your item is still under warranty.
14. Keep hands and utensils out of the Food Sealer when in use.
15. Never move the Food Sealer by pulling the cord. DO NOT let the electrical cord
hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
16. Place the Food Sealer on a flat, level, stable, heat resistant surface when using.
17. Do not place the Food Sealer on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated
oven.
18. Do not use the Food Sealer with a damaged outlet.
19. Make sure hands are dry when plugging in and unplugging the Food Sealer.
20. Do not use this Food Sealer for other than intended use.
