Use

Important advice

· Place the tip of the temperature sensor halfway into the
thickest part of the food. In any case, make sure that
the tip is not too close to bones, cartilage, or a high-fat
area to avoid a falsified result.
· For poultry without filling, it is important that you do
not insert the probe into the cavity.
· Clean the temperature sensors before and after each
use!
Thermometer mode
In the thermometer mode the core temperature 1 FOOD
and 2 B RBECUE are displayed in the LC display.
2 B RBECUE can alternatively also be used as a grill
or oven thermometer. Use the metal clip to fix suspension
clip at the oven or grill rack.
The receiver stores the set values for the temperature
alarm even when the device is switched off.
Select the temperature unit
To toggle between °C and °F, press the °C / °F button
on the back of the transmitter and keep pressed the
°C / °F button on the front of the receiver.
Setting the temperature 1 FOOD
(function as roast thermometer)
· Make sure that the thermometer mode is activated so
that 1 FOOD and 2 B RBECUE are shown on the LC
display.
· To adjust the core temperature, press the HI/CLE R
button.
· Press and hold this button until the display flashes.
· Press again to change the temperature. Press and hold
to increase this value faster.
· To save this setting, press the MODE button.
