4. . INSTRUCTION FOR USE
4.1 USE WITH VEHICLES (A/C SYSTEMS)
1. Place the LOVAIR PRO
WARNING!! Check for active carbon cabin filters; if they are present, remove them
before carrying out the treatment.
2. Turn on the car's engine.
3. Turn on the fan or the conditioner at the maximum power, in "blow-by" function.
4. Close the windows to isolate the compartment from the outside.
5. Connect the equipment to the car's electric lighter by means of the adapter.
WARNING!! make sure the socket is actually fed to 12V.
6. Select the functioning time suitable to the vehicle you want to treat
(please see following table).
To start the operation, it is necessary to turn the selector clockwise until the red light turns
on; at this point, turn the selector anticlockwise until the desired time is reached.
Economy/medium car
Big saloon car/SW/Jeep/SUV/
Minivan/ Truck's cab
Camper/Caravan/MiniVan
Coach/Train carriages
The operator must leave the vehicle as soon as the ozone generator has been activated.
Nobody (persons or animals) must stay in the vehicle during the treatment.
7. Close the vehicle's door and windows.
8. Clearly signal that treatment has been initiated so that no one can accidentally enter
inside the car.
9. The unit will stop automatically when the selected time is over.
10. It is recommended to wait another 10-30 minutes, before aerating the work area,
in order to maximize the bactericidal effect.
11. Open all doors or windows to ventilate the treated environment for at least 10 minutes.
12. Turn off the fan or the conditioner and turn off the car's engine.
Ventilate the interior of the treated passenger compartment for at least 10 minutes
following the directions given in section 3.
