Balanced tension:

The rows of stitches on the right side of the fabric are
straight and even. The looper thread forms the dual
rows of squares with diagonals.

(A) lf the needle thread tension is too loose:
*The stitches on the right side are irregular and
loase.
*There is a gap between head and tail of the looper
thread crossing points.
Tighten the needle thread tension, and/or loasen
the looper thread tension to correct it.
(B) lf the needle thread tension is too tight:
*The fabric puckers.
Loasen the needle thread tension, and / or
tighten the looper thread tension to correct it
