1. Insert a brush on to the handle. The bristles must face in the direction of the
switch. It must not be possible to turn the shaft of the brush in this position.
2. Rinse out your mouth thoroughly and wet the bristles. If necessary, you can also
use toothpaste. In order to avoid splashing it is better to switch the toothbrush
on and off when it is in your mouth.
3. Switch the toothbrush on by pressing the switch to position "I".
4. Move the brush slowly with small circular movements and with slight pressure
from tooth to tooth. It is not necessary to press hard. Ensure that the head of the
brush also reaches into the spaces between the teeth.
5. After you have finished brushing, rinse out your mouth. Remove the head of the
brush and clean it in water.
6. In order to switch off the toothbrush, press the switch to position "0".
Note: It is possible that during the first days of use your gums may bleed. This nor-
mally stops after a few days. If the bleeding of the gums does not stop after two
weeks, please consult a dentist.
Remove the head of the brush from the handle and clean it under running
water! Do not use any additives to clean the head of the brush!
The toothbrush is watertight and can be cleaned under running water! However,
it should not be left submerged under water for a prolonged period!
Do not use any abrasive substances for cleaning! These may damage the seals
and the housing!
Simple soapy water may be used to clean the toothbrush.
If the bristles lose their stiffness and shape, they should be replaced. Spare too-
thbrushes for your electric toothbrush can be ordered from the telephone num-
ber listed under "Service".
