− Keep children under the age of eight away from the steam
iron and power cord at all times.
− Do not leave the steam iron unattended while in operation.
− Make sure that children do not play with the plastic
wrapping. They may get caught in it when playing and
suffocate.

The steam iron becomes very hot when in use and may ignite
flammable liquids and vapors in the immediate vicinity.
− Keep flammable liquids and vapors away from the steam
iron.

The soleplate may inflict burns if you come into direct contact
with it.
− Never leave the steam iron unattended when it is
connected to the power outlet.
− Always remain attentive when ironing.
− Make sure that there is no risk of other persons, especially
children, or pets burning themselves on the steam iron.
− Do not iron garments while they are being worn.
− Do not point the steam at another person or at animals.
− Always iron on a solid, stable base to prevent the steam
iron from falling.
− Let the steam iron cool off completely before cleaning or
storing it.
