4) LOOKING AFTER AND CLEANING YOUR MACHINE

 Before any cleaning make sure the machine is turned off, completely cool and that the
power supply lead is unplugged.
 Never immerse the base of the machine directly in water or any other liquid.
 Wipe it with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it carefully.
 Wash the fondue pot, the fork support, and the forks with a sponge, hot water and
washing-up liquid. Note that the parts are detachable and dishwasher-proof.
 If food has burnt leave the fondue pot to soak for a while in water before washing.
 After a Savoyard fondue we recommend filling the fondue pot with water and leaving it to
soak overnight before washing it.
