4) LOOKING AFTER AND CLEANING YOUR MACHINE
Before any cleaning make sure the machine is turned off, completely cool and that the
power supply lead is unplugged.
Never immerse the base of the machine directly in water or any other liquid.
Wipe it with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it carefully.
Wash the fondue pot, the fork support, and the forks with a sponge, hot water and
washing-up liquid. Note that the parts are detachable and dishwasher-proof.
If food has burnt leave the fondue pot to soak for a while in water before washing.
After a Savoyard fondue we recommend filling the fondue pot with water and leaving it to
soak overnight before washing it.
