Operating instructions

• Unlock the top lid by rotating it and remove it. (Fig 1)
• Connect the AC adapter to the DC socket. (Fig 2)
• Add water to the tank with the included measuring cup.
Make sure the water does not exceed the max line
(100ml). Do not add water while in use. Only use water
below 40°C.
We reccomend 1 to 3 drops of VortCare essential oil per
100ML of water. You can apply additional drops to fit
your tastes. (Fig 3)
• Re-install the top lid and rotate it until it is securely
fastened to the base. (Fig 4)
Please note: Secure the top lid before switching the unit
on.
•. Connect the AC adapter into a power outlet.
• Press the "LIGHT" button once to turn on the light and
have it cycle colors automatically
While the light is in cycle mode, press the button again
to lock in the current color. Press the button again to
switch between the seven available colors and their two
brightness levels. To turn the light off either cycle through
all the available colors or hold the "LIGHT" button for
three seconds until the light goes out. (Fig 5)
• Press the "MIST" button once to put your VortEssence
into
intermittent mode (on for 30 seconds, off for 30 seconds). The unit will display a green
light while in this mode. A second press will enable continuous mode, and the green light
will turn red to indicate the new mode. A third press will turn the Sonic Cloud mist off.
You can also hold the "MIST" button to turn off both the mist and the light at once. (Fig
6).
If the water runs out, Hydro-Safe will intervene and turn the unit off automatically.
Please Note: If you do not use your VortEssence for a long time, please pour out the
remaining water from the tank wall labeled "DRAIN SIDE", clean the unit with fresh water,
and dry.
