2.6. INpower® LEFT-SIDE CRANK ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION
2. .1. 6 Tighten the left-side bolt to 35-40 Nm
using a 10 mm allen wrench.
2. .2. 6 Eliminate lateral play by tightening the
preload nut counterclockwise.
2.6.3. Lock the preload nut by tightening the
pinch bolt clockwise with a 2 mm allen
wrench.
2.7. FINE TUNE ADJUSTMENT
2. . 7 1. If the crank does not turn smoothly even with the left-side bolt not tightened, check that the
spacers have been properly selected. In case it is necessary, remove a 0.5 mm washer from one
of the sides and repeat the installation. Make sure the cranks do not have lateral play.
2.7.2. If you see that there is lateral play even with the left-side bolt completely tightened, use an
additional 0.5 mm plastic washer on the left side and repeat the installation steps.
2.8 UNINSTALLING .
2 .8.1.
Remove the battery. Unscrew the non-drive-side
bolt counterclockwise using a 10 mm allen wrench
until the non-drive-side crank assembly disengages
from the spindle. Take the left crank out of the axle.
Do not disassemble the bolt, washer, self-extractor
system.
