ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The angular trays PERSEUS type PP are possible to install either before tiling or after tiling into a finished bathroom. According to the
position of piping it is possible to turn the tray (by siphon) to the 4 positions for the most advantageous fixing of piping. Polyurethane
reinforcement is formed to variouss frontal surfaces where covered by the additional panel. For mounting into a niche the tray is finished
with 1 panel PERSEUS (80, 90 or 100) SET N, for mounting into a corner 2 panels type of set PERSEUS (80, 90 or 100) SET L are used.
The shower trays are perfectly compatible with all kinds of shower enclosures of series ELEGANCE and SUPERNOVA manufactured by
the RAVAK company, of conformable dimensions 80, 90 or 100 cm. We recommend to finish the shower tray with the RAVAK siphon of
Æ
diameter
90. The height of the tray is 175 mm.
1.
Remove the top siphon cover using a flat, blunt object and take out
the sludge trap. Using the shoulders on the inside diameter (
mm) unscrew the siphon. Use a wrench of diameter 90 mm to
assemble.
2.
Place the tray provisionally in the required position and mark the
location of the siphon on the floor. Next, mark the height of the upper
edge of the tray on the wall.
3.-3a
Make the outlet piping
the siphon. It is possible to cut off parts of the reinforcement to the
maximal dimension 60X60 mm if necessary, with a rotating cutter
Æ
40-50 mm.
4.
Adjust the siphon in the tray to its correct position and mark the
position of the pipe joint. Finish the connection of the outlet pipes and
the siphon.
5.
The new trays are modified for hanging from the edge to clips on the
wall. It is necessary to mark the centre of the clip each quarter of the
length in from the edge of the tray. Drill a hole (diameter 8 mm) 50 mm
from the upper edge and fit the dow
6.
At the mounting of the angular tray PERSEUS in a niche space out
the clips (pict. 6) - 2 pcs on the back wall, on both sides 1 pc in
a quarter of distance from the edge.
7.
Screw on the plastic clip (the shorter claw up - see the picture),
check the fixing of the tray. Try out the fixing of frontal cover panels at
the same time, mark their position. Before the final mounting of the
tray apply the sealing into the claw of the clip.
8.
Apply the silicone RAVAK PROFESSIONAL sealing compound on
the entire surface of the tray where it contacts the floor. Apply the
silicone compound on the tray approx. 10 mm from the outside bottom
edge.
9.
Place the tray to in its final position and screw the siphon gently.
10.
Press the tray against the floor and remove excessive sealing
compound. Seal the horizontal and vertical fissures between the tray
and wall by the sealing RAVAK PROFESSIONAL. If using an another
cement, there is the risk the tray will not be water-proof. Seal also
fissure between the floor and frontal cover panel by the same way.
11.
Finish the assembly of the siphon, fit on the top cover. Using the
silicone sealing compound arrange the joints between the tray and
floor. Mount the frontal cover panels according to the independent

The tiling can be a max. 5 mm over the outside edge of the tray.
The front part of the tray can be tiled at the same time as the walls. The
fissure has to be sealed by flexible sealing.
13.
To gain better access for the siphon, ti is posible to remove part of
the polyurethane in that area. If it is done, the tray should be reinforced
in that area. It is possible to cover the opening by panel PP or by a tile.
14.
The showertray PERSEUS PP used in a niche is finished with one
frontal cover panel marked SET N. The panel is for single types of trays
in the length 800, 900 or 1000 mm. In case of using in a corner it is
necessary to use two - parted frontal panel marked SET L in the length
800, 900 or 1000 mm.
15.
Try out the fixing of the panel on the tray to the tequired position
before sealing the tray to the floor. The panel has to follow the border of
the tray or be max. 2 mm behind the edge of tray.
16.
The corner joint of the panels is locking, therefore it is necessary to
pay attantion to its assembly. The panel with the claw is put to the
frontal panel.
17.
Apply a little amount of the sealing on several places of the upper
and lower groove after the final fixing of the tray and if necessary also
the shower encloser. Similarly also on border. Put the panel into the
grooved clow at first and hten the frontal panel. Set a corner joint and
both panels correct.
18.
We recommend to fix the panel by added self-adhesive strips
during time of setting the sealing. It is possible to bend the strip to the
right angle and fix the cover panel to the floor.
19.
Seal the fissure between the floor and cover panel and vertical
fissures in the place of contact of panel with the wall. It is possible also
to seal the fissure betwen the panel and border of the tray or it is
possible to use a special seal, stuck on the upper flange of the panel.
Later deliveries have better packaging for protection of the trays. This
is why the contact foil is no longer included.
