Intended use

Truma DuoComfort is an auto-
matic changeover valve for use
with a two-cylinder gas system.
It permits replacement of a gas
cylinders without interrupting the
gas supply.
The current removal status („Nor-
mal" or „Reserve") is shown
directly on the valve. By adding
a remote display (part no. 50210-
01), the changeover valve can
be upgraded so that the removal
status can be viewed from inside
the vehicle.
DuoComfort must be used in
conjunction with a wall-mounted
gas pressure regulator like the
Truma SecuMotion (part no.
52300-01/02/03/04) or model EN
gas pressure regulators from the
company GOK (please inquire

with your dealer when using any
other gas pressure regulators).
Two high pressure hoses are
needed for connecting to the gas
cylinders. If you intend to use
the gas system while driving,
then the high pressure hoses
must be equipped with inlet-side
hose-break safety devices and
you must use SecuMotion with
integrated gas-flow monitor.
Truma offers hoses with com-
mon connection fittings (see
page 54 – 55) to enable use of
gas cylinders with various valve
connection sizes.
To avoid disturbances in the gas
system during winter operation,
the DuoComfort changeover
valve may be equipped with
Truma's „EisEx" regulator
heating (part no. 53101-01).
This changeover valve
may not be used in con-
fined spaces (houses, mobile
homes, or boats)!
Pressure regulating de-
vices and hoses must be
replaced with new ones no more
than 10 years after their date of
manufacture (every 8 years if
used commercially). This is the
responsibility of the operator.

Operating instructions

Use the control knob (a) to man-
ually select which cylinder will be
operating and which will be held
in reserve.
The mica window (b) indicates
the status of the operating
cylinder:
Green = operating cylinder full
Red = operating cylinder empty.
