INTRODUCTION

The Lynx Router is the element of the LYNX infrastructure that enables a secure LAN
extension over Internet.
All these communications to or from the Internet are safely performed by the VPN tunnels.
One installation can register up to 120 routers. The router may provide coverage for the
call diversion service throughout the installation, to a specifi c block or a group of homes.
The installer must properly confi gure the home terminals to activate the call diversion
and assign the output LYNX router. Each router supports up to a maximum of 8190
mobile phones paired to homes and connected.
Each of them should be behind a ISP router / modem (confi gured correctly) that provides
access to the Internet.
The Lynx Router is also in charge of dynamically updating its IP address on a dynamic
DNS server (DDNS).
