General information

The SBS filling and flushing station is only suitable for water and water-glycol mix-
tures for solar and heating systems. The medium must be free of grit, but may be
polluted. Dirt in the system is held back by the filter situated at the pump intake
inside the tank.
The user must make sure that the SBS 2000 filling and flushing station is suitable
for the fluid in use.

Notes on operation

WARNING!
Risk of fatal injury by explosion or deflagration!
Using the station with substances having a flashing point lower
than 55 °C can lead to explosions or deflagrations.
Î Do not use the station with petrol, solvants or other
volatile substances!
WARNING!
Risk of scalding through overheating!
During operation, the pump motor can reach a temperature of
up to 70 °C.
Î Do not touch the heated pump!
Note
For optimum and safe operation, use the ball valves for the pressure and
flushing hose (see p. 19).
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
Ball valve leakage can lead to fluid ejection.
Î Close the ball valve of the pressure hose after flushing.
Î Remove the pressure hose only after the ball valve has
been closed.

Fluid ejection can lead to injury!
Î Wear goggles in order to avoid injury.
