Line of Sight (LOS) mode or SLOPE
setting
You can set the FLAGMASTER via a preset, step by
step menu.
Press the Range button to activate the FLAGMASTER.
Then press the Mode button for 2 seconds.
The display will show LOS = Line of Sight (fl ashing).
LOS is the currently set mode. To change this to SLO-
PE = press the Range button and you will see SLOPE
displayed. Press the Mode button again to save the
set value.
Your FLAGMASTER offers you 2 different ways of
determining distance. The fi rst one is LOS (Line of
Sight). The LOS mode measures the direct distance to
a target without consideration of an angle. The SLOPE
tells you the equivalent horizontal distance (or angle
modifi ed distance) with consideration of the angle.
