7. Finally, once the logs are burning, close the control-door primary air valve and
regulate the combustion process using the side lever which controls the amount
of air used to clean the glass pane.
8. In order to get the maximum performance from your stove, you will need
some time to become familiar with its operation. Do not expect any immediate
effects on the fire when you open or close the various controls-valves. The
flame will not become more or less intense as in the case of liquid or gas fires.
Solid fuel, such as wood, react more slowly.
9. The stove and especially its external surfaces will be hot when it is in
operation. We recommend using gloves if you have to touch it.
REMEMBER: When lighting the fire following these instructions, you will create
an excellent base for an effective combustion process, free from smoke and
pollution; achieving the optimal performance of the stove.
REMEMBER: Opening the door lever is only used when lighting the fire.
However, based on your installation, you will perhaps need to open it a little
during the operation of the stove.

Load wood into the stove

1. Open the primary air control-valve
to its full position (door lever); open
the combustion control-lever to the
full position (side lever) and, finally,
open the stove door.
2. Place dry splinters of wood on the
embers inside the stove. Remember
that, as in the lighting process, it is
advisable to leave gaps between the
logs to allow oxygen to intensify the
fire.
3. Once all the logs are burning,
adjust the primary air valve to its
minimum position and adjust the
side valve based on the level of
combustion required
REMEMBER: the best time to
recharge the stove is when it still
has a considerable bed of embers
inside. If there are not many embers,
recharge it following the initial
lighting instructions.
