Take care to mount a lockable safety switch (Isolator)
for the Multicutter to ensure that it cannot be started by
accident – e.g. during repair and maintenance.
Safety switch
The Multicutter is designed for indoor installation being
protected against moisture.
The Multicutter should be mounted in an accessible
location for maintenance.
Mounting pipe system for Multicutter
The pipes which are mounted directly at inlet and
outlet openings of the Multicutter must always be
mounted using clamps with bolt in order to make
it impossible to uninstall the pipes without using
appropriate tools. Always use the special safety
clamps provided with the Multicutter. Do not attempt to
use quick release clamps for mounting pipes directly
at the inlet and outlet of the Multicutter. The inlet and
outlet of the Multicutter are designed so that it is not
possible to mount quick release clamps.

The pipes mounted at the inlet and outlet of the
Multicutter must have a minimum length of 800 mm
and a maximum diameter of 200 mm to prevent the
possibility for coming in contact with the Multicutter
blades when the pipes are mounted. If it is impossible
to avoid connection of pipes within 800 mm from the
Multicutter always use clamps with bolts for these
connections. The connections may not be separated
without appropriate tools, so that use of quick release
clamps is not allowed.
At the connections of pipes within 800 mm from
the Multicutter a sticker has to be placed, informing
that the use of quick release clamps is not allowed.
Two stickers are provided with the Multicutter. If it is
necessary to use more stickers, they can be obtained
at Kongskilde (give retail number 122001083).

If the distance L from the Multicutter to a connection on the pipe
system is shorter than 800 mm, clamps with bolt must be used.
At the connection, a sticker must be placed (122001083), which
shows that use of quick release clamp is not allowed.
