3. BEFORE USE

1. Take the product out of the box and remove all packaging materials.
2. Make sure all the parts and accessories are present and that there are no visible signs of
damage. If there are, contact immediately the Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
3. Place the appliance on a flat, stable and dry surface.

4. OPERATION

1. Turn the grinder's lid anticlockwise and pull it up to remove it.
2. Pour the desired amount of coffee beans into the container.
3. Close the lid again by turning it clockwise and make sure it is safely closed.
NOTE: the product includes a safety systems which does not allow the device to operate
unless the lid is completely closed.
4. Take the necessary wire out and connect the device to a power supply.
5. Press the lid down to activate the grinding function and hold it down until the desired
level of grinding is obtained.
6. Unplug the appliance and pour the ground coffee into a different container.
TIPS:
• Always keep the lid of coffee bean container hermetically closed in order to preserve the
coffee beans aroma.
• Only grind the necessary amount of coffee at a time.
• Never overfill the bean container.
• As per general indications, consider one tablespoon of beans per cup (e.g. 4 spoons of
coffee beans for 4 cups). Naturally, optimal amounts, defined on the basis of personal
taste, will be identified with time.
• Coffee grounds left in your grinder can become stale and affect the taste of future coffees.
To avoid this, clean the product and its parts after each use.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Always turn off and unplug the appliance after each use and before cleaning.
• Always remove ground coffee residues with a brush.
• Do not immerse into water.
• To remove residue or aromas left behind by previously ground products, grind one
tablespoon of baking soda in the bowl and then wipe it thoroughly.
• Use a dampened, soft cloth to clean the product's outside surface.
