CONTROL AND THEIR FUNCTIONS

AC POWER OPERATION
Connect receptacle end of the mains lead to the
AC socket (6). Connect the plug to an AC outlet.
The connection of the mains lead to the AC socket
(6) cause the disconnecting of batteries supply.
BATTERY POWER OPERATION
Install 4 x "C" batteries into the battery campartment
(8) on the backside of the device, carefully as indi-
cated in the battery compartment.
Remove the batteries when don't use the device
for a long time.
OPERATION
1. Turn the Volume knob / ON-OFF knob (2)
clockwise until you listen a click sound, the
radio turns on.
2. Select the desired radio band with the Band
switch (4):
FM = frequency modulation
AM = media wave
3. Tune in a desired station by tuning the Tuning
knob (9).
4. Adjust the Volume knob / ON-OFF knob (2) for
your desired listening level.
RECEPTION NOTE
The FM and AM band antenna is internal so to
improve the reception orient the device.
PHONE JACK
For private listening connect a headphones (not
included) with a 3,5 mm plug with an impedance
from 4 to 32 ohm to the Phone jack (5). The built-in
speaker will automatically disconnected.
With earphone or headphones use:
To prevent possible hearing damage, limit
the amount of time listening at high volumes.
MAINTENANCE
This device is a high precision electronic instru-
ment; so it's recommended to not place the radio
set near sources of heat, in humid or dusty places,
nor expose it directly to the sunlight.
Clean the radio with a damp cloth. Using detergents,
abrasives or solvents may damage the radio set.

nufacturing defects, ex cluded replacement of
labels and removable parts.
