Figure 7. Connecting the unit to the mains.
• Only an authorized technician with a certifi cate for electrical works may connect the device to the electrical grid.
• The appliance should be connected to a 400V 50Hz three-phase socket equipped with a circuit breaker In=30mA by
means of a plug or directly to the power supply.
5. DEVICE OPERATION
Before turning the unit on, make sure that it is properly installed and that its technical condition is safe for use.
Preparing for start:
• close the drain valve (Fig. 10 Pos. 1)
• connect the device to a power source
Operation:
• Prior to operation, the control knob (Fig.8 Pos. 3) should be set to "0" .
• Remove the cover and then place the base (Fig. 9 Pos. 5) so that it covers the heaters (Fig. 9 Pos. 4)
• Fill the tank with oil so that its level is between the "MIN" and "MAX" markers on the inside of the compartment.
• Attach the baskets to the lower heater holder (Fig. 9, Pos. 2).
• CAUTION! It is not allowed to switch on the appliance while the bowl is empty.
• To switch on, turn the knob to the right and set the target temperature. The operation of the device is signaled by a
green indicator light; the orange light fl ashes on when the oil in the heating compartment is overheated, and goes out
when the preset temperature has been reached. When the oil temperature falls, the unit re-energizes the heater until
the temperature set on the control knob is reached (Fig. 8 Pos. 3).
• Carefully put foodstuffs in the basket. When frying, it is recommended to cover the work area with a lid, which will help
maintain the cleanliness and oil temperature. Make sure the cover is dry fi rst.
• The device is equipped with a safety mechanism that will automatically cut off the power if the nominal operating tempe-
rature is exceeded. After removing the cause of the malfunction and cooling the oil, press the safety button to continue
working with the appliance (Fig. 8 Pos. 1).
• When the batch of food products has fi nished cooking, remove the lid and carefully remove the basket from the working
area together with the contents. You can hang the basket on the upper crosspiece of the heater holder for the products
to drip the excess oil (Fig. 9, Pos. 2).
• To switch off the unit, turn the knob (Fig. 8 Pos. 3) to "0" counterclockwise (the green indicator light will turn off) and
disconnect power supply.
