Cleaning
Daily:
• Use ordinary soapy water. Avoid abrasive, corrosive and
chlorine-based cleaning agents. Rinse off with clean water and
wipe with a soft cloth.
• This product cannot be cleaned in an autoclave.
Occasional:
• Removal of lime spots on aluminium parts: Use 3 parts 30%
domestic vinegar to 7 parts water, wipe off with a well-wrung
damp cloth (clean water).
Maintenance
• If a product mounted on a horizontal track does not run
smoothly, it may be necessary to clean and lubricate the slide.
Use a mild detergent, dry with a soft cloth and allow to dry.
Apply a lubricant in the form of a silicon spray, and wipe with
a dry cloth.
• We recommend running the motors on an electric shower
chair to maximum positions at least once a week. I.e.: raise
and lower chair to maximum to ensure internal parts are
lubricated.
Service
We recommend an annual inspection and service is performed by
the supplier.
Procedure for shower chair with electric motor:
1: Remove end stop and front panel.
2: Remove any dirt from rails using a cloth.
3: Apply silicon using a brush.
4: Run slide up and down until lubricant is evenly spread –
apply more if necessary.
5: Check seat surface for damage and dirt, clean in
accordance with guide.
Procedure for manual shower chair:
1: Check seat surface for damage and dirt, clean in
accordance with guide.
2: Check lever lock, lubricate with oil.
3: Check wall track, lubricate with silicon.
We recommend using a silicon spray for wall-mounted products
to ensure that they always run smoothly.
