To disconnect the set from the mains completely, withdraw the mains
plug from the wall socket.
Radio
1. Set the function switch to RADIO. Set the volume knob selector to
ON.
2. Adjust the sound with the controls VOLUME.
3. You may connect stereo headphones with 3.5mm, plug to socket
PHONES. The loudspeakers are then muted.
4. Select the wave band using BAND selector.
5. Tune to a radio station using TUNING knob.
To improve reception:
- For FM, pull out the telescopic aerial. To improve FM Reception incline
and turn the aerial, reduce its length if the FM-signal is too strong (very
close to a transmitter).
- For LW, the set is provided with a built-in aerial, so there is no need to
use the telescopic aerial. Turn the set to find the best position.
USB, SD/MMC CARD PLAYBACK
Able to decode and playback all MP3 & WMA files which stored in the
memory media with USB connector, SD or MMC Card Slot.
1. Select FUNCTION SWITCH (14) to MP3.
2. Before connecting the USB media to the unit, make sure the port is in
correct direction and will connect. Or insert SD/MMC Card straightly
without bending.
3. The system will automatically start reading the MP3 & WMA files in
the USB Storage Media, SD or MMC Card.
4. Press USB SD REW/F.F./PLAY Buttons for REW/F.F./PLAY
FUNCTION.
Wrongly connect the USB Storage Media or SD/MMC Card upside
down could damage the unit or the USB Storage Media or SD/MMC
Card. A locked SD/MMC Card cannot detected or playback.
ENCODE FUNCTION
To Start Encode (Record) from RADIO, CONDENSER MICROPHONE,
Make sure the USB Flash is NOT in HOLD mode. While for the
SD/MMC
card, make sure the write protect tab is NOT in LOCK position.
