Starting the engines
• First start the motor in the supplier vehicle. Bring the motor up to a
moderate engine speed.
• Now start the motor in the receiver vehicle.
Attention:
The starting attempt may last for a maximum of 15 seconds. Wait for at
least 1 minute between start attempts.
• After the receiver vehicle has been successfully started, allow its engine
to run for about 2 or 3 minutes - until it runs smoothly.
Disconnecting the cables (Fig. B)
Risk of explosion! Disconnect the minus pole (earth)
first!
ALWAYS disconnect the black cable (minus) first - at the battery-remote
earthing contact resp. metal part in the receiver vehicle. NEVER disconnect
one of the clamps on the battery first. There is a risk of explosion due to
possible detonating gas development!
• First, disconnect the black pole clamp from the earthing contact in the
receiver vehicle (1).
• Then remove the black pole clamp from the minus pole in the supplier
vehicle (2).
• Remove the red pole clamp from the plus pole of the supplier battery (3).
