1.0 GENERAL SAFETY DIRECTIONS
The device includes dangerous parts which due to the presence of gas can cause serious damages to persons
or property in case of: incorrect use, removal of guards or disconnection of safety devices, poor inspection
and servicing.
The manufacturer may not be held responsible for failures, breaks or accidents resulting from incorrect
use of the machine or failure to follow the directions contained in this manual.

1.1 IDENTIFICATION OF THE MACHINE

"Furetto", gas heated vaporiser against varroa.
IMPORTANT! DO NOT USE WITH OXALIC ACID
1.2 MACHINE OPERATORS
WARNING! FOR SAFETY PURPOSES, THIS MACHINE SHOULD BE USED BY SKILLED STAFF ONLY, AWARE
OF THE INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED IN THIS MANUAL WHICH FORMS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE
MACHINE.
"Furetto" has been designed for use by a single operator.
Basic technical and mechanical skills are required to correctly operate the machine and carry out maintenance
and basic servicing.
2.0 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Pressing and releasing button (5) moves the product to the serpentine where it immediately vaporises out of
the spray nozzle (3) and enters the hive. Each spraying takes no more than 2 seconds.
The humidity of vapour depends on pumping frequency; it is recommended to repeat the press-and-release
action at intervals of 5 seconds.
Before inserting the butane cartridge in the device, make sure the regulating valve (8) is perfectly closed;
unscrew and take out the red container (9), place the cartridge inside it and then tighten it back in place.
IMPORTANT!
Keep away from flames or other heat sources when inserting the butane cartridge. Replace the butane
cartridge only when it is completely empty. Furetto can be operated using 190 gr butane gas cartridges.
Fill the yellow container (11) with the liquid which is to be used for the treatment (making sure to filter it, if
impurities are present) then tighten the container to the handle.
Place Furetto on a flat surface, light a match and hold it near the metal grid (4), open the gas valve (8) acting
on the regulating valve.
The flame should start immediately. Allow the vaporiser to pre-heat for approximately 2 minutes. Start the
treatment.
WARNING!
The metal grid gets very hot when the device is working: be very careful not to burn yourself!
