GENERAL INFORMATION

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

I
The stove produces hot air using wood pellets as fuel, with
electronically controlled combustion.
A
Hereunder is the explanation of its functions (the letters refer to
fi gure 1).
The fuel (pellets) is taken from the hopper (A) and, using a
B
screw (B) operated by a gear motor (C), is sent to the crucible
(D).
D
E
The pellets are lit by hot air produced by an electrical element
C
(E) sucked into the crucible through a smoke extractor fan (F).
The smoke produced by combustion is extracted from the
F
combustion chamber by the same fan (F) and expelled from the
vent (G) which can be connected to the back, the left side or
G
the top of the stove (see page 36).
The KIKKA PLUS stove is designed to distribute hot hair to
the room where it is installed and even to another room.
In order to channel hot air to another room, it is necessary to
fi g. 1
use the following optional kits (more details on page 37-38).
- KIT 12 for distributing hot air to an adjacent room
- KIT 12 BIS for distributing hot air to a remote room
The heart, coated in steel/cast iron, is frontally closed by a
ceramic glass door.
The quantity of fuel, the extraction of the smoke and the input
of air for combustion are regulated by a motherboard equipped
with software, to obtain a high combustion yield and low emis-
sions.
The main phases can be managed by display or remote control
supplied as optional.
The stove is equipped with a serial port to connect an optional
cable (code 640560) to be connected to devices that allow
remote ignition (e.g. remote telephone, local thermostat, ect.)
