HALFEN HK5 Brickwork support brackets
Fixing to concrete with HALFEN Chemical anchors HB-V or
HB-VMZ; HB-VMU or HALFEN Bolt anchor HB-BZ
Install the site drilled bolt according to the

technical approval and installation instructions.

HK5 bracket
Place the slotted adjustment plate on the anchor rod.

Make sure the HK5 bracket is level and at the

correct height. A notch in the bracket head should
rest sercurely on the slotted adjustment plate;
if required slightly tap the bracket with a hammer.
Tighten the nut using a torque wrench.
Note: Only use suitable site installed bolts
with an appropriate technical approval;
e.g. HALFEN Chemical anchor HB-VMZ
for fi xing to cracked concrete or
HALFEN HB-VMU for fi xing to brickwork.

Install the HALFEN Cast-in channel as specifi ed.

HK5 bracket
Pre-assemble the HK5 bracket, the HALFEN Bolt,

the slotted adjustment plate, the U-plate, washer and
nut. Slot the head of the HALFEN Bolt horizontally
into the HALFEN Cast-in channel, turn clockwise 90
degrees and screw hand-tight. The fi nal orientation of
the notch at the tip of the shaft must be vertical.
Make sure the HK5 bracket is level. A notch in the

bracket head should rest securely on the slotted
adjustment plate; if required slightly tap the bracket
with a hammer. Tighten the nut using a torque
wrench.
