The sequence of risks mentioned below follows the sequence of installation activities. The risks mentioned
are those that usually affect the motorized door / gate installations; however, depending on the different situa-
tions additional risks should be considered.
TYPE OF RISKS
Mechanical structural risks and
wear risks.
Loss of stability and falling pieces.
Impact and crushing on the main
closing edge (figure 1, risk A).
Impact and crushing in the opening
area (figure 1, risk B)
RISK ANALYSIS AND POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
EVALUATION CRITERIA AND SOLUTIONS TO ADOPT
*Check the strength of the structure (columns, hinges and leaves) according to the
forces applied by the engine.
Fix the engine perfectly, using suitable materials.
*Check if the door stroke is limited (in opening and closing) by mechanical stops of
adequate resistance. Check that the door cannot be pushed out and for any reason your
sliding guides can not fall off.
*The engine has an adjustable electronic anti-crush system that reverses the maneuver
in case of obstacle both when opening and closing.
*We recommend adding a rubber (protection device Fig. 1) to cushion a possible
impact on the front and the rear of the door.
* To reduce the risk of impact between the door and people (or vehicles), you must
install a pair of photocells (preferably outside), as shown in the figure
(recommended height 500 mm.).
* When the risk of impact is high (for example in the presence of children
alone) it is recommend to install another pair of photocells (inside), as
shown in the figure (recommended height 500 mm.).
* Respect the safety distances indicated in the figure, in two different cases.
