Do not use the hair dryer in the
bath or shower, in rooms with
damp atmospheres or near
liquids (above a washbasin
or bath filled with water, for
example).
For greater protection, we recommend you
install a 30 mA residual current device in your
bathroom. Consult your installer.
DO NOT SUBMERGE THE APPLIANCE OR
CORD IN WATER. AVOID ANY SPLASHES.
The hair dryer can be dangerous even when
it is switched off, and it should therefore be
unplugged immediately after use.
4. USING YOUR DRYER
• After washing your hair, dry it with a towel and
comb it.
• Do not use chemical products or hair care spray
products on your hair before using the hair dryer.
• Plug in the appliance.
• The dryer is provided with two accessories: the
concentrator nozzle (a) and the diffuser. The
concentrator allows you to direct the air flow
towards a specific point. The diffuser will give your
hair volume. The two accessories fit onto the front
of the dryer.
• Select the switch position for the right temperature
(d) and air flow (i).
On/off switch – Air flow selector (i): This control is
used to operate or stop the appliance as well as to
select your desired air flow.

Temperature setting (mod. SP-2555 Ci) (d):
The temperature setting allows you to select three
power levels (low, medium or high) and therefore the
operating temperature (Fig. 2). The orange indicator (e)
will come on.
Cold air button (c): With the cold air button you can
lower the air temperature regardless of the switch
position. It allows rapid cooling.
Ioniser (Mod. SP-2555 Ci) (f): This function will
enhance your hair shine and protect it from static in the
air. To activate this function switch the ioniser switch (f)
and the indicator light will come on (g) (Fig. 3).
5. CLEANING
• Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water, or
allow moisture to enter it.
• Clean the air inlet grille (b) regularly with a
brush to remove any dust and hair that may
have become caught up in the grille. Turn
the air inlet grille anticlockwise to dismantle
it (Fig. 4). All parts must be completely dry
before reassembling the hair dryer.
• Clean the outside of the appliance with
a slightly damp cloth and dry it with a
dry cloth. Do not use abrasive or acidic
products.
6. SAFETY
The dryer is equipped with overload protection
so that the dryer will cease to operate in the
event of any overheating (e.g. if the air inlet or
outlet become blocked). If the dryer switches
off during use, turn the switch to "0" and wait
for approximately 5 minutes. Remove the
cause of the blockage and switch it back on.
7. INFORMATION FOR THE CORRECT
DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL AND
ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES
At the end of its working
life, the product must not be
disposed of as urban waste.
It must be taken to a special
local authority differentiated
waste collection centre or to a
dealer providing this service.
Disposing of a household appliance separately
avoids possible negative consequences for
the environment and health deriving from
inappropriate disposal and enables the
constituent materials to be recovered to obtain
significant savings in energy and resources.
To remind you that you must collaborate with a
selective collection scheme, the symbol shown
appears on the product warning you not to
dispose of it in traditional refuse containers.
For further information, contact your local
authority or the shop where you bought the
product.
