TWIN NEEDLE BUTTON
(80, 100 STITCH MODEL ONLY)
A twin-needle produces two rows of parallel
stitches for pin tucks, double top stitching and
decorative sewing.
Twin needle width should be less than 2.5mm.
THREADING THE TWIN
NEEDLE
For twin needle sewing place a reel of

thread on each of the spool pins, thread as
normal, with the left hand thread going to
the left hand needle, via thread guide above
needle clamp. Use right hand spool pin for
right needle, threading as normal, but using
torsion spring thread guide on needle bar,
not thread guide above needle clamp.
Pick up bobbin thread as for single needle

sewing. Pull the three threads together under
the presser foot to the back of the machine,
leaving about 15 cm clear.
NOTE: Needle threader cannot be used to
thread the twin needle.

Molla tendifilo
TASTO AGO GEMELLO
(SOLO PER MODELLO 596)
L'ago gemello realizza cuciture parallele con il
punto dritto (impuntura), con il punto triplo
(cucitura elastica) e con i punti decorativi
realizzando una cucitura a fila doppia.
L'ago gemello può avere una distanza massima
fra un ago e l'altro di 2,5 mm.
INFILARE L'AGO GEMELLO

2. Per pescare il filo dalla bobina procedere
come fosse un filo unico.
Portare i tre fili verso il dietro e sotto il
piedino premistoffa, lasciando circa 15 cm
di filo come mostrato in figura.
NOTE: quando è montato l'ago gemello,
l'infila ago non può essere utilizzato.

Posizionare un rocchetto di filo su ciascun porta
rocchetto. Procedere ad infilare la macchina nel
seguente modo: il porta rocchetto orizzontale
infila l'ago sinistro e passa attraverso la molla
tendifilo del morsetto ago; il porta rocchetto
verticale infila l'ago destro e passa attraverso il
guidafilo del morsetto ago.
