■ Close material supply ball valve
[2-7] / [3-1] / [4-1] / [5-8] / [6-7] / [7-1] /[8-4].
■ Close compressed air supply ball valve [3-9] / [4-9] / [5-2] / [6-1].
Variant with single pressure reducer
■ Close spraying air ball valve [3-6] / [5-4].
Variant with second gun connection
■ Close spraying air ball valve [7-4] / [8-1].
■ Disconnect material pressure tank from the compressed air circuit.
■ Vent the material pressure tank completely with the bleeder valve
[3-4] / [4-4] / [5-6] / [6-5].
■ Undo the toggle screw [1-12] / [2-13].
■ Open the clamp [1-9] / [2-11] outwards.
■ Take the tank cover [1-7] / [2-8] off the pressure tank [1-10] / [2-10].
■ Clean the pressure tank with a suitable cleaning agent (see chap-
ter 12).
■ Fill the material pressure tank with material.
Close the material pressure tank
■ Position the tank cover [1-7] / [2-8] on the material pressure tank
[1-10] / [2-10].
■ Close the clamp [1-9] / [2-11] inwards and position the toggle screw
[1-12] / [2-13] on the inside of the cover bead.
■ Tighten the toggle screw hand-tight.
■ Connect the agitator with the power / compressed air circuit.
■ Connect the material pressure tank with the compressed air circuit and
adjust the pressure within the permitted range.
■ Connect the material and spraying air supply (see chapter 10.2).
11. Maintenance and repairs
The following chapter describes the procedures involved for maintaining
and repairing the material pressure tank.
11.1. Check the safety valve
Danger!
Risk of injury from defective safety valve
A defective safety valve fails to vent the material pressure tank properly
and it can explode.
→ Check the safety valve regularly. If no air is discharged at the safety
valve, stop the pressure tank immediately and replace the safety valve.
