The door opening systems must necessarily involve protections against overvoltage caused by the electric
locks.
An unprotected control unit that controls these electric locks can be hopelessly impaired.
The varistor we provide helps protect the control unit against surges. It must necessarily be connected as
close as possible to the lock. Each lock connected to the control unit must provide their own varistor.
The varistor supplied is suitable for the electric locks working at a maximum voltage of 12Vac/dc.
