Low Battery
The 3M™ PPS™ Sun Gun™ II Color Matching Light is configured with a voltage regulator to ensure that
the proper spectral output of the lamp is maintained. Once the supplied voltage drops to a predetermined
level, the lamp will fail to illuminate and therefore the 3M™ PPS™ SUN GUN™ II Battery Pack will need
to be recharged. NOTE: Prior to complete failure, the lamp will continue to provide proper spectral output
until the voltage regulator determines that the supplied power is inadequate. At this time the unit will shut
down and the switch will not turn on the light. When this occurs, the 3M™ PPS™ SUN GUN™ II Battery
Pack should be disconnected from the 3M™ PPS™ SUN GUN™ II Light and inserted into the 3M™ PPS™
SUN GUN™ II Battery Charger. The 3M™ PPS™ SUN GUN™ II Light will not function until the 3M™ PPS™
SUN GUN™ II Battery Pack has been fully recharged. This functionality has been implemented to ensure
that the 3M™ PPS™ SUN GUN™ II Color Matching Light always provides the proper spectral output for its
intended use.
