IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read and follow the following safety precautions as to prevent fire, electric shock and
other injuries:
1. Before use, check if the voltage of your wall outlet corresponds to the rating plate which is on the
bottom of the appliance.
2. Do not let children play with the appliance.
3. Do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug into water or other liquids and wet areas.
4. While operating, place the appliance on the heat resistant surface near the mains socket.
5. Do not use the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunction or has
been damaged in any manner. To check, repair or adjust the appliance, contact the nearest
authorized service center.
6. The appliance shall be used only after cooking plates are properly assembled.
7. Do not touch the cooking plates with your hands. Make sure you use gloves or washcloth since
the cooking plates are hot during operating.
8. Use of accessories which are not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire,
electric shock or injury to persons.
9. Power cable needs to be well located to avoid cable hanging or people trumping.
10. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or any hot surface.
11. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
12. Extreme caution must be paid when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
Since there can be oil splashing during cooking, the use of oven mitt or pot holder is suggested.
13. Preparing food can cause fire. Do not place the appliance close to curtains or other inflammable
material, fire stoves, baking oven or other high-temperature surface.
14. To avoid damage to the appliance or danger of fire make sure you do not use plastic film,
polybag or metal foil for removing foods from the cooking plate after operating is finished. Do not
let the food cool on the cooking plate; remove prepared food as soon as possible.
