What is the NSF certifi-
cate?
NSF International is an inde-
pendent
non-governmental,
non-profit, global leader that
guarantees the safety of public
health.
NSF manages the develop-
ment of more than 75 stan-
dards and health protocols
for food and catering equip-
ment and certifies products
for safe use in restaurants and
commercial kitchens. These
standards include safety, sa-
nitation, design and product
performance requirements.
The NSF approval certificate
enables market access for pro-
ducts, guaranteeing the adop-
tion of the highest standards
worldwide. The equipment is
tested and certified for accep-
tance in the USA, Europe and
other global markets.
IMPORTANT:
A dull blade may produce
metal shavings. Never res-
harpen. The blade is coated
and must be replaced after
every 2.500 cans. Store the
can opener with the handle
perpendicular to the bar.
FIXING
Fixing the base plate for the can opener.
The device's base plate has to be attached to
a fixed surface by means of the holding screw.
Inserting the can opener into the base pla-
te. The opener has to be inserted in through the
hole on the base plate.
OPERATION
With the shank in the upright position, place the
can on the base below the cutting blade. Hold
the shank and press down to pierce the lid of
the can.
Lower the shank and turn the handle to the
right, the blade will start cutting the lid. When
it is just about to finish cutting it, hold the can
with a gloved hand to protect it from the lid's
sharp edges.
Raise the shank back into the upright position.
Lift the opener to remove the can.
