2.4.2. Tips for Defrosting
Microwave penetrates around 4cm into most food, to maximize
defrosting effect, the followings are advised:
• For thick and chunky food, turn the food regularly during operation
in order to obtain uniform heating effect;
• If food is over 0.5 Kg, it is advised to turn at least 2 times.
• Defrosted food should be consumed as soon as possible. It is not
advised to put back in fridge and freeze again.
2.5. Utensils
It is strongly recommended to use the containers which are suitable
and safe for microwave cooking. Generally speaking, the containers
which are made of heat-resistant ceramic, glass or plastic are
suitable for microwave cooking. Never use the metal containers
for microwave cooking and combination cooking as spark is likely to
occur. You can take the reference of below table:
