After inspecting the electric controls and cabling,
replace the access panel. Start up the unit and
observe it for, at least, one full heating cycle
and one full cooling cycle in order to guarantee
a proper operation. If you fi nd any discrepancy
in one or in both operating cycles, or if any
malfunctioning occurred, control each electric
component with the proper electric devices. Refer
to the cabling tag of the unit whenever performing
these checks.
NOTE: Refer to the heating and/or cooling
operation sequence in this manual to help you to
determine the proper operation control.

Air Filter

Inspect the air fi lter(s) at least once a month
and replace (the disposable ones) or clean (the
washable ones) at least twice during each heating
or cooling season, or whenever the fi lter(s) become
clogged with dust and particles. The replacement
fi lters should have the same dimensions as the
original fi lters.
Never operate the unit without a proper air
fi lter in the return air piping system. Always
replace the fi lter for another with the same size
and of the same kind.

CONDENSATE DRAINING – Review and clean each
year, at the beginning of the cooling season. In
winter, keep the draining dry or protected from ice.
Keep the condenser fan free from obstructions
in order to guarantee a proper cooling operation.
Never place elements on the top of the unit.
Condenser Fan
1. Remove the screws that fi x the fan guard to
the cabinet and remove it.
2. Inspect the fan blades for possible breaks or
twists.
3. If the fan needs to be removed, loosen the
guard and slide the fan away from to the
motor shaft.
4. When replacing the fan blade, its position must
be such that the shaft protrudes nearly 60mm
from the fan hub. See Picture 15.
5. Ensure the guard presses the fl at portion of
the motor shaft when adjusting it.
