SCOPE OF APPLICATION
The submersible pump is a device for pumping water up
to 35°C from ditches, flooded premises, water tanks etc.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from non-
intended uses of the device!
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Upon receipt of the goods, check the packaging for
integrity and open it. If the packaging is damaged, please
contact your transport company and distributor within 3
days, and document the damages as detailed as possible.
Do not turn the package upside down! When transporting
the package, please ensure that it is kept horizontal and
stable.
DISPOSING OF PACKAGING
Please keep all packaging materials (cardboard, plastic
tapes and Styrofoam), so that in case of a problem, the
device can be sent back to the service centre in accurate
condition!

INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE
When in use, the device should be in a vertical position and
on a stable surface. The pump requires at least 40x40x50
cm of free space for the float to move without obstructions.
Water may be discharged via a rigid connection or a flexible
hose. The device may be used with water up to 35°C.

OPERATION
Usage guidelines:
•
Before connecting the pump to a power source,
the electrical wiring systems should be verified
by a person with appropriate qualifications and
knowledge in terms of earthing, zeroing effectiveness
and the presence of a residual current device.
•
A residual current device up to 30mA must be
installed within the electrical wiring system.
•
Do not operate the device with wet hands.
•
If risk of flooding occurs, secure all electrical
connections (by elevating to a higher surface for
example).
•
Secure the device motor against freezing.
•
Do not start the pump before it is submerged in
water. „Dry" operation results in permanent damage
to the pump.
•
The device has not been designed for continuous
operation.

•
After use disconnect the device from the power
source.
•
Do not use the power cable to carry the device.
•
To carry the pump, use the handle. To lower the
pump into water, use a rope attached to the handle.
•
Disconnect from the power source immediately if
the pump malfunctions or the power cable insulation
is damaged.
•
Do not use the pump for salt water, corrosive
substances, flammable liquids, etc.
•
Do not use with water which exceeds 35°C.
•
Make sure the bottom of the ditch/hole to be
pumped is free from sludge and large particles.
•
Inspect the water volume in the ditch/hole regularly.
The pump may pump sludge if the water level is
too low, which once dry will prevent normal motor
operation.
•
Do not obstruct the water outlet when in use.
•
Leak of lubricants from the device might contaminate
the water.
•
The hook (model MSW-SP350CW) is used to
suspend the pump from an edge of a tank (e.g.
barrel) to prevent it from sinking to the bottom and
pumping up sludge.
•
The discharge valve (model MSW-SP350CW) may be
used to adjust the water stream flow and to close
the water discharge for short periods of time during
device operation. Do not close the discharge valve
for prolonged periods whilst the pump is on – this
will overload the device and result in a malfunction.
Assembly (applies to model MSW-SP350CW);
Assemble the device as shown on the diagram below.
Insert larger diameter washers into elements marked
with a letter „A" and insert smaller diameter washers into
elements marked with the letter „B". Attach the hook
anywhere on the extension pipes. First slide it over a pipe
and then fasten using the wing bolt.
Use preparations:
1.
Connect correct diameter water
A
discharge pipe. Ensure it is on
properly.

2.
Make sure the power cable and
socket are not damaged.
3.
Adjust
the
float
switch
adjusting the switch lead length
and fasten to the cable clip as
required. Make sure the switch
A
will shut the pump down at
minimum water level and that
the cut off level is not below the
B
pump intake.
4.
Stand the pump on the bottom of
the ditch/hole.
5.
Make
sure
the
discharged
water will not flood electrical

connections.
6.
Prevent the pump from „dry"
operation.
To activate the pump, connect it to
a power supply. The pump will switch on
depending on the float switch position.

TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
Shaking, crashing and turning the device upside down
should be prevented when transporting it. Store it in
a properly ventilated location with dry air and without any
corrosive gas.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Always unplug the device before cleaning it.
•
Use cleaners without corrosive substances to clean
each surface.
•
Clean organic deposits from the device after every
use with a stream of clean water and a soft cloth.
•
For permanent pump placement (as protection
against flooding), inspect it approx. every three
months.
•
If deposits accumulate in the lower section of the
pump, dismantle the water intake grille and wash out
deposits from the pump turbine using a stream of
clean water. ATTENTION: Do not place the device on
its turbine if the grille is dismantled. After cleaning,
re-attach the grille.
•
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
REGULAR CONTROL OF THE DEVICE
Check regularly if the device is damaged. In case of
damage, please stop using it immediately and contact
customer service for solving the problem
What to do in case of a problem?
Please contact customer service and prepare the following
information:
•
Invoice number and serial number (the latter is to be
found on the technical plate on the device).
•
If necessary, take a picture of the damaged, broken
or defective part.
•
It will be easier for your customer service assistant
to determine the source of the problem if you give
a detailed and precise description of the problem.
The more detailed your information, the better
customer service will be able to solve your problem
rapidly and efficiently!
CAUTION: Never open the device without the authorization
of your customer service. This can lead to a loss of warranty!
