The cabinets can be regarded as a safety system.
With your best interest in mind we therefore recommend a monthly functional test (visual inspection). A
proper safety check should be carried out by an employee who has been certified by us and who has the
requisite extensive experience and technical knowledge.
Ordinary mild household cleaners can be used for the exterior of the cabinets. The exterior of the cabinets
features decorative surfaces.
The locking mechanism of the doors must be oiled once a year. Catches can be lubricated with graphite
once in a while.
Door hinges can also be lubricated with graphite.
Keep water and humidity out of and splashing water away from the cabinets.
The cabinet has been purposely designed to require a minimum of maintenance. If any safety-relevant
damage is discovered the damaged parts must be replaced with original parts before the cabinet can be

Shipping

Our storage lockers for records and files are shipped pre-assembled on a pallet.
Observe safety regulations during shipping!
It generally takes at least 2 people to move the cabinet.
During shipping and transportation the cabinet must be upright and lashed to the included pallet. Do not
undo the ties until the cabinet has reached the set-up location.
If the cabinet needs to be placed on its side it should be moved without jolting and come to rest on the
whole back or side panel. Do not set the cabinet down onto the side with the doors! The doors must be
locked while moving the cabinet. Keep in mind that the cabinet is very heavy. It will generally take at least 2
people to move it.
Do not store the cabinets outdoors.
Any damage must be reported to us at once in writing.
