CLEANING, CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
Handwash cutlery with mild soap and warm water. Use caution when handling the blade.
•
This cutlery is dishwasher-safe, but handwashing is recommended to maintain the
knife's natural appearance.
•
Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or scouring pads to clean de cutlery.
•
Do not soak or immerse cutlery in water for extended periods of time.
Care
After washing, rinse and dry cutlery with a soft cloth.
•
Keep cutlery thoroughly dry and clean to ensure proper function.
•
Always properly clean cutlery to prevent contaminating food, knife block or cutting
surface.
Store cutlery in knife block to protect the knife blade.
•
Do not store in a drawer unless blade is stored in knife block.
Maintenance
•
Regular sharpering of the blades will maintain the condition and effectiveness of the
cutlery.
•
A steel sharpener realigns the teeth of the blade to restore sharpness of the cutting
edge. However if the blade is extremely dulled, it may need to be professionally
sharpened.
•
A standard market knife sharpener will also successfully sharpen the blade.
