For welding in boilers, containers and confined spaces only transformers having a maximum open-circuit voltage of 42 V
are permitted.
Combination 1-/2-phase machines are equipped with a safety circuit to prevent damage to the machine components
in case the voltage selector switch is set wrong, i.e. set to 220 V with the machine connected to a 380/415 V 3-phase
mains or set to 380 V with the machine connected to 220 V single-phase.
