System Information
With this option you will get addi-
tional information such as on tank
level in "bar", feed water quality,
and product water quality measured
after the RO modules.
1. Press Menu to activate the Main
Menu.

Printer Connection
The arium ® 61316 reverse osmosis
system can be connected to an
optional printer by a serial interface
RS232. If you have connected an
®
arium 611APR1 printer on the
arium ® system, following informa-
tion can be printed:
– Model number
– Serial number
– Date and time
– Conductivity or resistivity
Note!
The connection to the arium
system will be done by an RS232
serial interface with a 9-pin sub-D
port for a serial printer or a PC. The
ported printer must use a separate
power supply.
Similarly, every commercial printer
can be used that accepts an RS232
interface. Please always follow the
operating instructions and the
manufacturer's instructions.
The arium ® 611APR1 printer is
preconfigured as follows:
Baud rate 19200cd
Parity Space

P1:Send CR|LF ON

P3:Decimal-char Point

P5.Inverse from 0

With other printers, the settings
may vary.
Connecting the Printer
1. Check whether the printer is
suitable for an interface RS232
connection.
2. Connect the printer to a
suitable power supply.
3. Connect the printer to the left side
of the RO-unit.
4. To select a print option press the
Menu button on the display, to
activate the Main Menu.

5. Select <Setup> and press Enter to
confirm.

6. Choose <Print Mode> and press
Enter to confirm. Following
display is shown:
Print Mode
With <Interval> you can make
regular print outs at intervals from
0-59 minutes from the actual dis-
play screen of the "operate" mode.
The print out will be done every
10 minutes.
By choosing the <Display> mode
the printer will make only one hard
copy from the actual display screen
of the "operate" mode.
7. Set the desired form and confirm
with Enter.
Afterwards the system will switch to
the previously activated operation.
Note!
The standard arium
system is not supplied together
with a printer. This must be
purchased as an option.
Transferring Data to a PC
Using a standard interface cable
you can connect a PC to the RS232
interface and transfer the data.
The data can be displayed on your
PC with the Hyperterminal software
included in your Windows operat-
ing system or with any equivalent
program.
