the machine unless you are a trained Key Operator or qualified service
technician. Follow all precautions. Always turn the Power Switch to the "Off "
position and unplug the machine before opening. Always wear the Heat
Protective Glove (included in your Accessory Pack) when removing a
jammed Binderstrip

1.
Turn the Power Switch to "Off ", unplug the machine and let the
machine cool for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
2.
Remove the Cooling Rack from the top of the machine.
3.
Open the machine by pushing the eraser end of a pencil through the
hole in the lower right corner of the machine (figures 2 and 3) until
the machine cover pops open slightly.
4.
Gently push the cover up until it stops in the upright position.
5.
If you cannot easily reach the jammed Binderstrip
lift the blue metal bookrest (figure 4). Always wear the Heat Protective
Glove.
6.
Remove the Binderstrip
7.
After removing the jammed Binderstrip
rest back into its original position, until it clicks and locks into place.
8.
Close the machine by pressing down on both sides of the cover until
the latch clicks and locks in position.
