If, when you have switched the camera on again, you want to use remote
control again, please first re-activate the operation through RF-CTRL in the
camera menu.
Quick recording (quick rec.)
The camera will start after a few seconds with the recording selected, if it
has been switched on.
Switching off LCD (Auto LCD Off)
Here you can regulate whether the LCD screen should automatically switch
off after 30 seconds, 1 minute or 5 minutes. Press any button to switch the
screen on again. If you select OFF, the screen remains switched on.
Automatic switching off
The camera switches off automatically after the selected period, if it is not
used.
TV output
Here you select the TV standard required: PAL or NTSC. PAL should be se-
lected in Central Europe.
Date /time
Here you can set date and time.

Language
You can select the language from the menu list. There is a selection of:
Russian, English, German, French, Spanish and Italian.
Formatting the card
Here the SD card can be formatted. Caution: If you format the SD card, all
the data stored on it will be irretrievably lost.
Factory settings
Here the camera can be restored to the factory settings.
Software info (factory settings)
This is where the currently installed firmware is displayed.
To leave the set-up mode completely again, press the shutter release for
about 3 seconds.

5. Playback mode

Press the main switch repeatedly for short bursts until the playback (arrow
pointing to the right in a circle) symbol appears. Confirm by pressing the
shutter release.
Your saved files are now displayed.
