this product, and keep for future reference. If you give this product to someone else, please also give
this instruction manual to the new owner. Please note some parts of the figures shown below may be
slightly different from the actual product, for your better understanding of the structure and proper use.

l This product is designed for small size dogs, 6.6 - 17.6 lbs.
Features
l Dual-functionality allows this gate to be used as both a tension mount and freestanding gate.
l Width is adjustable to fit different sized openings. Designed to fit doorway or hallway openings from
39.8 to 61.8" wide (Tension mount gate) or 39.8 to 59.8" wide (Freestanding gate).
l Includes walk-through door for small pets.
l Wooden frame co-ordinates well with home interior.
l Rubber skids keep gate in place and prevent shifting.

Instruction for Proper Use

<Common Warnings>
l This product is designed for small dogs. Do not use this product for anything other than its intended purpose.
l Do not place this product at the top of staircase, near a glass door, emergency exit or areas where may cause this product to fall.
l This product cannot completely prevent pets from passing through. Do not place the gate in a location where passage could
lead to possible danger. Choose location carefully.
l Keep this product away from all heat sources at all times to avoid unexpected product damage or burn-related injuries to self/pets.
l Use this product on the stable and flat surface.
l If you notice anything wrong with the product or installation site, discontinue its use at once.
l Make sure each part is properly assembled before using this product to avoid unexpected serious injury to pets, and/or product
damage by being caught between the wire slats and each panel.
l Make sure the door locked securely to avoid unexpected injury.
l Pets may behave unexpectedly when startled by thunder, lightning, or other animals. To avoid possible injury/death during
such times, pets should be supervised not left unattended. We recommend to leave the door open when pets are unattended.
l Do not use this product while your pet is leashed to avoid unexpected accidents/injuries, such as dog entanglement.
l Only use genuine Richell parts and do not alter the design of the gate to avoid accidents and/or injury.
l Do not lean or hang on to this product to avoid unexpected accidents and/or product damage.
l CHILDREN and ADULTS can trip over product under low-light/darkness. Place a night light near the product to avoid possible
personal injury under low-light/dark conditions.
l Be careful not to stumble. Do not carry a baby or infant when striding over the gate.
l Be careful not to stumble on protruded feet of this product.

l Install this product onto a wall surface that is vertical and a floor surface that is steady and level. The Door frame/wall must be
wider than 2.4" for proper installation.
l This product is designed to fit openings between 39.8 - 61.8" wide. Do not install this product outside of its range to avoid
unexpected accidents and/or product damage.
Cautions!
l Please use this product for dogs that weigh 6.6 - 17.6 lbs. Do not use this product for dogs out of this weight range to avoid
unexpected injury and/or escape.
l Pay special attention to sharp corners and edges while installing this product to avoid personal injury.
l When opening/closing the Door, make sure the area is clear and be careful not to pinch your hands, fingers or pets.
l Do not drop or misuse this product to avoid damage and/or unexpected accidents.
l Pay attention not to pinch your hands or fingers during an installation.
l This product is made of natural material. Be careful not to injure self from natural splinters and/or cracks.
Important!
l Be sure the product is securely fixed. If not, tighten the bolts as necessary.
l This product is designed for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors.
