5-Sided Machining Plus Hold-Down

The 5-sided jaw with hold-down or GRIPP row can clamp workpieces up to a height of 97.5 mm
above the guideway of the ALLMATIC TITAN 2 (CA). The insertable panels are pressed onto the
guideway by the hold-down effect of the wedge elements and produce an exactly parallel work-
piece position. The 5-sided jaw enables good access to the workpiece with small tools.
5-sided clamping
– 5-sided jaw used to hold various wedge elements.
– Wedge holders can be screwed in variably on a perforated grid in order to securely clamp
a wide variety of workpiece widths.
– Suitable for 5-sided machining with short tools.
– Hold-down increases precision.
– Stability due to positive locking.
– Clamping possible in the neutral axis of the workpieces.

Areas of Application

The ALLMATIC TITAN 2 (CA) is supplied without clamping jaws and must be completed with
clamping jaws from our range.
The following can be used:
– All "conventional jaws" from the TC/LC 125 range.
– Support jaws for GRIPP clamping in combination with various GRIPP elements from our
range of accessories or the universal GRIPP set.
– All jaws with a hold-down function.
– All jaws in combination with GRIPP inserts.
The universal GRIPP set comprises GRIPP inserts, holder units and a range of components for
adjusting the resting height and the GRIPP height.
The hold-down set comprises wedge holders, wedge elements and headed dowels.
