The pump does not need any kind of special transportation and is properly protected with the
right packaging.
Description of the pump
The pump is made of steel gears, cast iron casing and cover. It features a safety valve for
overpressure relieving, works intermittently and is destined to be used with clean oils and gas
oils.
Electric motors are constructed under the current European regulation with top quality
components subjected to rigorous testing.
Installation and assembly
The group has to be assembled on a flat solid surface with screws, by the use of the
existing threaded holes of the motor or the pump casing, depending on the model,
to prevent noises and vibrations.
The closer the pump is installed to the liquid level the better, so we can obtain the
minimum suction travel and reduce flow losses.
The unit will be installed in a way to prevent any possible floods and securing a dry
ventilation.
Piping assembly

The suction pipe and the drive pipe both must have an equal or larger diameter
than the pump port.

The pipes have to be tight. Any air leaking will cause severe suction losses in the
pump.

Reducing the amount of elbows and strangulations will minimize flow losses.

The pump must not sustain the weight of the piping assembly.
