Charging the Rechargeable Batteries
If the symbol on the left lights up, connect the power
supply unit to charge the rechargeable batteries.
> The printer batteries are fully charged after 28 hours.
$ If the LED does not stop flashing red within a maximum of
3 hours: Change the rechargeable batteries.
Changing the Rechargeable Batteries

Avoid total discharge of rechargeable batteries as
otherwise maximum charge capacity is reduced.

Only use standard nickel metal hybrid type AA
rechargeable batteries (see "Accessories")

§ Open the paper compartment: Lift the paper compartment
cover.
§ Open the rechargeable battery compartment.
Tilt back the rechargeable battery compartment cover.
§ Remove 4 rechargeable batteries.

Used rechargeable batteries are hazardous waste
(not household waste):
Dispose of rechargeable batteries as hazardous waste
in accordance with the Waste Management Act.
