CONTROLS: A periodic check of the following procedures will help sustaining the life and efficiency of your
wheelchair.
Weekly: Check de pressure of the wheels following the instructions indicated on them. Check that the cross brace's
central screw is tight and in good condition / Clean the upholstery with soapy water or adequate products / Clean
the metallic parts of the chair with a dry cloth or with special products for chromium plated or painted surfaces /
Check the wheel locks and adjust if necessary / Check wear of front and rear tyres.
Quarterly: Check and adjust if necessary: Castor play / Play in the castor forks / Push wheels' play / Offcentering of
the push wheels / Lubricate with industrial oil or grease all parts subject to friction or wear / Retighten screws and
nuts / A general revision of the chair's condition, repairing whatever is necessary.
Yearly : We recommend a complete revision once a year in a specialized establishment
